Digital Illustration projects

So, these are all the projects I've had to do for my digital illustration class. The Dick Tracy pictures are project number 1, my initials and the scissors are project number 2 and the 3 snowboards are my final project. I think they turned out pretty good. I mainly used Adobe Illustrator to create all my images. By starting off with basic drawings and sketches, I scanned them and then used the pen tool to trace them and then do further adjustments and turn them into what you see here.

Dreamweaver

For our 6th project, we had to use Adobe Dreamweaver, which helps you build websites. We had to create a website with 3 different pages. I created my webpage based on a made up ski resort out west called Black Rock Mountain. I liked using this program, it was fairly confusing but once I got the hang of it, things went smoothly. My website actually looks pretty decent and professional looking. Im glad on how it turned out. Ill figure out how to post a picture later in class.

Adobe AfterEffects Video!

For this project we had to use Adobe AfterEffects and create a video using some images and have moving text. AfterEffects was a fairly complicated program, but I had fun using it and finding out all the cool effects you can do to alter your video clips. The one i made wasnt too fancy, but it turned out alright. haha

InDesign Magaxine Cover

Today in class we had to make a magaine cover in Adobe InDesign. I did some research, looking at many different types of covers to determine the best layout for a cover. This is the result -


We also have a midterm test, which we have yet to take. I'm fairly confident that I should do well. Although, I think Patrick might try to cheat off of me. We will wait and see...

Illustrator Logo Project

For this project we had to use Illustrator to come up with a logo. And then present it in a powerpoint presentation with the sketches and steps we took to develop it. I mostly used the pen tool to trace my first sketch, and then this is how it turned out.

Project #1

This is my first project for computer concepts 2202 class. We had to create an add by using an image and making a collage within that image of other images that relate to the subject. I chose snowboarding, and this is my final design.
